The ecogas system is considerably favourable because it allows recycling the first combustion smoke, re-conveying it again, by means of a fan, into the combustion chamber and at the same time adjusting the combustion flame even in case of low quality combustion materials (for example, wet non-dried wood material). The ecogas principle allows discharging a type of soot, which is less rich in oxygen, from the chimney: as a consequence, the heating power and the thermal efficiency increase. Because of the recirculation and twice combustion this types of hot air oven obtains best values in emission testing and are so fare best suitable for districts with strict environmental directives. The emission gases CO and nitrogen and the fine particulate residues are highly reduced by recirculation and reburning.
